Field Trips at the farm are educational and fun!

10 or more students must be scheduled to qualify for a field trip.

Teachers and assistants are free including pumpkin.

Homeschool groups of 10 or more are welcome, one coordinator is free including pumpkin.

The cost is $8.50 per student.

Parents are welcome to attend and are $5.00 for the hayride.

Siblings are welcome and if they travel with the student, sit for the lesson and pick a pumpkin, they are charged as a student.

2 and under are free.  Pumpkins for 2 and under are not free but can be purchased separately.

The field trip includes:

A field trip pumpkin (4-6 lb. pumpkin), picked from the vine by the student from our real pumpkin patch.

A hayride around our 18 acre working farm with storybook characters along the hayride path.

The play area includes friendly farm animals, picnic tables for lunch or snack, sand piles, play houses, hay bales to climb and a children's corn maze.

Learn about the life cycle of the pumpkin plant and details about our growing process at the farm and meet Farmer John.

Teachers and parents shop at the farm stand where you'll find locally made jams, salsa, local honey, pumpkin bread, cookies, pie and more!

It is a fun and educational day.  Teachers and parents love the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

The Lesson is interactive, SOL and grade level appropriate.  The farm play area is secure and small enough for teachers to easily monitor students.  The play area has been expanded this year for more room for everyone!
